Catherine and Fidel’s Torrey Pines engagement session focused entirely on the beach. We stayed down on the sand, using the coastline as our backdrop and capturing a mix of playful moments, sweet interactions, and those in-between photos that end up meaning the most. I love how much variety you can get from a simple beach session without needing to visit a dozen different locations.

Fun fact: the first proposal I ever photographed was actually my sister’s proposal on the cliffs at Torrey Pines! This location has a special place in my heart because of that memory, and it’s so fun to return and photograph other couples in a place where I captured such a meaningful moment in my own family’s story.
