Mackenzie and Isham’s Wild Oak wedding in Lindon, Utah was such a beautiful combination of elegant details, lush greenery, and an incredibly romantic setting.
The Wild Oak is one of those Utah wedding venues that immediately feels different. With ivy, greenery, European-inspired architecture, and beautiful natural surroundings, it has an almost Italian countryside feel that I absolutely love.

Getting Ready & Wedding Details
We started Mackenzie and Isham’s wedding day with all of the girls and little details that made their Wild Oak wedding photography so beautiful. I also photographed their flat lay and wedding details as well as the ceremony setup.
The green and white florals were the perfect choice for The Wild Oak. They felt elegant and timeless while complementing all of the greenery and ivy throughout the property.
The Wild Oak is a 1.6-acre wedding venue in Utah County with beautiful landscaping, a European-inspired ballroom, a marriage grove, pergola-covered patio, and plenty of spaces for wedding photos. The ballroom also features 19-foot ceilings and old cellar doors, adding to that timeless European feel.
An Emotional Wedding Ceremony
Mackenzie and Isham’s Wild Oak wedding ceremony was filled with so much emotion. Their vows were incredibly heartfelt, and it was one of those ceremonies where you could really feel how meaningful the moment was for both of them.
The ceremony setting surrounded by greenery made such a beautiful backdrop for their Lindon Utah wedding photography. The venue’s marriage grove and landscaped outdoor spaces give couples plenty of options for their ceremony and wedding photos.
Wedding Party & Couple Portraits
After the ceremony, we moved into wedding party photos before spending time with Mackenzie and Isham for their couple portraits.
This is one of my favorite things about photographing a Wild Oak wedding in Utah. There are so many beautiful textures and backdrops around the property, from the greenery and ivy to the architecture and outdoor spaces. It gave us plenty of variety while still keeping the entire gallery cohesive and romantic.
I especially loved leaning into an editorial wedding photography style for their portraits while still giving them plenty of natural, genuine moments together.

Cocktail Hour, Dinner & Dancing
After portraits, everyone enjoyed cocktail hour before sitting down for dinner. The reception space at The Wild Oak wedding venue always looks beautiful, but I especially loved it once the lighting became softer and the evening started to settle in.
The green and white florals, long tables, warm lighting, and elegant details made the dinner space at The Wild Oak feel incredibly romantic. It was one of those receptions that photographs beautifully from the beginning of dinner all the way through the party.
And then, of course, came the dancing. The night quickly turned into a celebration with plenty of energy, laughter, and time spent on the dance floor.
A Beautiful Wild Oak Wedding Send-Off
We ended Mackenzie and Isham’s wedding day at the Wild Oak venue with their send-off, giving them one last moment to celebrate with their closest friends and family.
